General information about Acropora:
If you’re ready for Acropora, you probably already know. This is not a good starting point for beginners :). Aquaculture pieces are a great way for people wanting to test their tanks ability to keep across. As a seasoned aquarists, I often like to buy non-aquaculture pieces, because the amount of color development that happens over the first 3-6 months in captivity if they make the transition is incredible to watch, and you can get pieces with a ton of potential without paying the high price tags on the already aquacultured pieces, but frags of Acropora that haven’t been in captivity for a year or more can be unpredictable, and you could loose one through no fault of your own, which can be very discouraging and confusion for hobbyists wanting to see if they can be successful keeping Acropora.
