Clove Polyps or Clavularia sp. are a fairly easy to keep Soft coral. The trickiest part is placement, as you want enough indirect flow to keep the coral healthy, and prevent bacterial, fungal or algae from growing in between the polyps, but to high of flow and they'll end up looking more like a Xenia blowing in the wind, in which case they often shrink up, and slowly loose polyps along the edges taking the brunt of the flow. We also find that they can do well from quite low, to Moderately high light with some time to adapt, but often maintain large Polyp Size when kept at a bit lower PAR.
