NOTE: This model is categorized as a Freshwater Setup by Waterbox. We have run this tank several times as a saltwater tank, and the only thing that should be considered as more “freshwater” than traditional reef would be the lighting – it is not a traditional Coral Reef powered light, and more of a natural, white light spectrum than a traditional reef, but will work fine for even planted marine and lowlight reef tanks.
